Attention Georgia Tech Students:
Get involved in the local community!
As a Georgia Tech student consumed in the academic rigors of college, it's easy to be unacquainted with life off campus. Many students are unaware of what life is like in the neighborhoods that border campus.
Georgia Tech's campus is bordered by four neighborhoods &mdash English Avenue, Home Park, Midtown and Centennial Place. Conditions in many of these areas contrast the safe and prosperous conditions of Tech's campus. Many community organizations work to improve the quality of life in nearby neighborhoods, and these organizations are always in need of volunteer help. Any one of the following current volunteer opportunities is a great way to impact the local community.
